Church Groups

We are a busy and sociable church and host a number of groups:

Charity Lunches:

Come and enjoy a tasty buffet lunch with hot soup for £7. All profits go to a chosen charity. Lunches take place monthly at 1pm (or around 1.30 if preceded by a Lunchtime Concert) but please check the calendar to confirm dates of lunches and concerts.

Phoenix Whist:

We meet most Friday afternoons at 2.30 pm for a whist session, but please check the calendar to confirm

Knit & Natter:

Meets on the last Wednesday afternoon of most months from 2 pm to 4 pm (£3. a session for refreshments etc. ) check the calendar to confirm.

Choir:

Meeting weekly at 7pm on Friday evening our small choir prepares anthems for Sunday morning worship. New members would be particularly welcome!

Nursery:

Tilbury Nursery at PBURC, founded in 1966, has an excellent reputation within the local community and was rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its most recent inspection in February 2022.

It offers term time early learning for children aged 2-5 years from 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday, including lunch club from 12-1pm.
